Head Football Coach Patrick Mallory
Coach Patrick Mallory enters his 9th season as the Wildcat head football coach. He attended Indiana University where he played football and graduated in 2000. Coach Mallory’s first job was at Center Grove High School, where he was an assistant football and track coach. The 2008 football team captured the 5A state title, and the 2011 track team won the school’s first track state championship. After 10 years at CG, Coach Mallory took over as the head coach of football and track at Knightstown High School. His Panther football teams were 14-8 in his two years as head coach, each season reaching the sectional championship.
The Lawrence North football program has made tremendous strides each year under Coach Malloy, putting several players into college programs at every level, with a few college players that may get an opportunity to play in the NFL as soon as 2022. Lawrence North has played for three IHSAA sectional championships in the Mallory era, and in 2021 the Wildcats won the school's first IHSAA sectional championship in 31 years with a 28-20 win over Lawrence Central.
Coach Mallory has three children, Honour, Cale, and Breck.
