Head Boys Soccer Coach Daniel Flores
Coach Daniel Flores was named the head coach of the Wildcat soccer team in the spring of 2022.
He was a member of the University of Indianapolis men’s soccer team that accomplished two NCAA D-2 Final Four appearances and won two conference championships. He also helped coach with the Greyhounds in 2021, a team that was ranked as high as #2 in the country.
In addition to his experience with UIndy, Flores has coached at Dynamo FC since 2019. He was an assistant coach on the LN soccer staff last season that saw a team that had not had a winning season since 2015 to a team that went 11-4-1, finished 2nd in the MIC and was consistently in the Top 20 state rankings all season.
Daniel recently graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a B.S. in Finance.
Lawrence North Athletic Director Mike Penrose said, “We are extremely happy for Daniel as he begins his high school head coaching career. We were impressed with his enthusiasm, preparation, and his outlook and concern for the student-athlete.”
“It’s certainly exciting and an honor to be a part of this team and school,” Flores said. “It brings me a lot of joy to come back and have the opportunity to continue building upon the foundations we put into place last season. I believe these foundations will put LN soccer on the path towards long term success.”
