Performing Arts
The visual and performing arts at Lawrence North have been recognized as some of the best in the state and beyond. We offer courses ranging from two-dimensional drawing and painting to ceramics to our state-of-the-art computerized graphics course. Our award winning choral department includes a girls’ choir, a mixed choir, a chamber choir, and our always entertaining show choir. Our marching band, color guard, orchestra, and concert bands consistently compete for the state championship as well.

Students hone public speaking skills as they compete Saturdays against other schools in 13 IHSFA sanctioned events including Humorous, Dramatic, Duo, Extemporaneous, and Impromptu.
